Architecture

You share the server with no one.

Every client gets their own Seafile server — a dedicated virtual machine with its own address, its own database and its own storage. It is not an account in a shared system; it is your server, which we run.

Your own virtual machine: It runs on our Proxmox hosts, isolated from every other client. A problem at one client cannot reach another, and an update can be scheduled separately, in the window that suits you.
Your own address: The service runs on your domain. If you do not have one, you get a subdomain free — your-company.regio-cloud.ro — included in the contract, with its own certificate.
Complete data separation: Files, accounts, logs and backups belong to a single client. There is no shared database in which several companies' data sits side by side.
Server-level backup: Not just the files: the whole machine. Daily, with Proxmox Backup Server, in at least two copies, on two servers in different physical locations.

Each client has its own virtual machine and its own address. Backups are taken at machine level and go to two different physical locations.

Why it matters in practice

An incident at another client does not touch you — neither technically nor in response time.
Updates and restarts are scheduled on your server, not on a shared calendar.
Storage and user limits belong to your machine; nobody eats into your performance.
A restore can bring back the whole machine, not just files — configuration and accounts included.
Audit is simpler to perform and to explain: one client, one server, one log.

You do not get an account in a shared system, but a dedicated virtual machine with its own address. Your company data does not sit in the same database as someone else's — the separation is at server level, not at row level in a table.

There is someone to talk to

Not a support form into another time zone, but a contractual partner with a name, an address and a phone number. Maintenance, updates and monitoring are our job, not your sysadmin's.

How many people, how much space, which retention rules. We look at what you use today and say honestly whether moving makes sense.

We run the migration from Google Drive, Dropbox or OneDrive ourselves, outside working hours. Folder structure and access rights are preserved.

Monitoring, updates and verified backup — without anyone on your side having to ask. Each month you get a report on space used and backup status.

"Who has access to the Contracts folder?"

In an ordinary cloud, that answer takes an hour of clicking and is still a guess. Here it is one screen — and it shows the path, not just the result.

When a colleague leaves: one operation closes everything — groups, shares, links — hands their libraries to a successor you name, then deactivates the account.
The sharing map — the whole server as a list, or as a library × person grid. It sees shares that Seafile's own web console does not show.
An .xlsx report with a coverage clause: a file you can put on the table in an audit, not a screenshot.
Permission matrix and reverse access index — from the library towards people, and from the person towards libraries, with every path cuttable separately.
Nothing executes without an approved plan, and the operations log cannot be deleted from the app.
